Artist talk response - Joahn Rothfuss

Joan Rothfuss’s talk about Nam June Paik was very interesting to me. Particularly, his piano performances are interesting, but they don’t necessarily mean something I like. With a profound background of classical piano performance, he turned his performance career into something really “against the current” by utilizing other objects. His music, in other words, had not limitation in creativity. However, to me, they are not the kind of music that I would listen to, but seeing the performances would be very fascinating. On the other hand, I really enjoy his “Electronic Superhighway” project.
